During that time I gained significant experience riding under her at home and at horse competitions. Her great riding skills doubled with a fantastic personalility made the learning experience very memorable and a worthwhile one." -- Sigrid Johnston "Kate succeeded where four prior trainers failed. She connected with my temperamental Weltmeyer mare. Finally, 7 years after I purchased her, Kate tapped the talents that I knew that mare had been hiding from the world. Because of Kate's extensive riding experience, she had the ability to determine whether discomfort or lack of fitness was my mare's underlying problem. Through sensitive, yet decisive training, Kate discovered my mare's powerful gaits, and she's making great progress each day. Thanks, Kate!" -- Mary Beth Avedesian |

Kate did a fantastic job schooling and competing my horse in preparation for sale.
She gave the horse a lot of confidence and not only went out and won ribbons,
but also found a wonderful home with the 'right' owner for the horse.
Kate is an experienced, professional equestrienne with a lovely position and
miles of patience; an incredibly hard worker and a delight to deal with.
USA has gained a gem and we (in Australia) have lost one. Good luck
in the US Kate - we watch your progress and continual success with much enthusiasm! -- Samantha Farrar |
Sometimes in one’s life we are blessed to have that “special” horse. It is
rare indeed when you can connect the right trainer with such a horse that can bring
that 'special' character out. This is how it has been with Kate and
my horse, Harmony. Through Kate’s kindness, persistence, and training methods,
Harmony has advanced in her training more than I would have thought
possible, and more than any previous trainer had achieved. Her positive
attitude has definitely garnered positive results. For example, other trainers
might gave my mare the label of “difficult', 'stubborn', or 'too sensitive”.
Kate will refer to her as having a “questionable work ethic at times”.
This positive attitude and kindness shows through to all of the horses
I have seen her work with. Kate has had success with a variety of different
horses in a variety of equestrain competitions. The horses seem to thrive
under her tutelage and go about their work happily. I look forward to
watching the progression and improvement of Kate’s training and success
with the horses here in the US. We are DEFINITELY lucky to have her here,
I just hope and pray we can keep her!! -- Robin Doser |

“What Kate has been able to do with my horse (and me!) is nothing short of amazing.
We have gone from not even placing to our first dressage win with the
day’s highest score! In my opinion, there are a lot of elite equestrians
out there, but only a rare few that have that ability to teach what they know how
to do so well. Kate is a true horsewoman in every sense of the word.” -- Amy Gaynor |
